BORIS WARNED: DON’T DRIVE DEMOLITION MACHINES ONTO OUR ESTATES!

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is trying to rush through all the demolition decisions before the start of the Mayoral elections.

The Mayor will decide Thursday 22 March whether to approve the planning application for the Seagrave Road scheme, which is phase 1 of the proposed Earl’s Court redevelopment.

West Ken & Gibbs Green residents’ three associations have written to Mayor Boris Johnson asking him to direct refusal on the grounds that the application is irrational, is unanimously opposed by neighbouring communities, and breaches the Mayor’s own London Plan.

We have pointed out that the vast majority of residents are steadfastly opposed to the Earl’s Court scheme, and have asked him to read what residents really think here.
